Same here. I've just met WAY too many fans who turn every second post in a different fandom around to yell OH WE SHOULD TURN THIS INTO A DOCTOR WHO CROSSOVER SUPERWHOLOCK XDXDXD

You have no idea how relieved I am that they've shot down a Sherlock/DW crossover. Not only would it not make sense in the Sherlock universe, but it would also bring out the crazy in people...

If I never see another SuperWhoAvengeStuckHobbitLockWhateverTheFuck again in my lifetime, it will be too soon. Seriously.

I don't read a lot of crossover stuff, but I do like it every so often and I think DW format crosses over fairly well. It's a show about going different places and jumping into adventures with the people they meet there; time travel and canonical alternate universes make it easy to bring the Doctor and companions into setting of whichever other show.

That said, all the things I WANT crossed with Who are never the things that GET a lot of crossover action. And I completely understand the backlash against the SuperWhoLock tumblr conglomerate. It's overwhelming and doesn't interest me in the slightest.
