I understand that there are SJWs out there who seem to feel the need to be total assholes. But you can generally tell which ones they are (hint: they are the ones who use the "die cis scum" tag) and ignore them. If this secret/rant is directed at them, then you're shouting at a wall, mate. Just don't bother.
If you're NOT talking about those guys and feel this way about fandom in general, then (this part is gonna be hard to hear, but) you need to stop being so fuckin' sensitive, okay? When people are talking about being ACTUALLY treated like shit in the real world out there by straight cis folks, they are not talking about you, they're talking about the people who do it. Unless you are one of them, they don't mean you. You cannot make an oppressed person's frustrated tired hurt feelings all about you, okay? Cause then you are the asshole. Let a person feel their feelings. They're not mad at you. Some things just don't involve you and it doesn't mean they HATE you, it means they're feeling vulnerable and shitty. No one likes to be faced with the uncomfortable reality that their lives are naturally easier than others', I get that you're not sure how to react to that, but you just gotta get over it. Are you one of those white people who gets all bent out of shape about black history month? I hope not, and if not, you have to realize you're kind of being that way right now. (If you ARE, then....what the fuck, man?)
There is a possible third option, that you ARE being a dick and hurting lgbt people and don't even realize you're doing it. Maybe they ARE talking about you. But I'm going to give you the benefit of the doubt and just hope not.
