Fandom is supposed to be a safe space for everyone, not just for the select few, majority, minority, or anything in between. It's meant to be a safe space so we can all get on with the number one reason we came here for in the first place: have fun.

I have to wonder where all the hardcore SJW are offline. I know several who are mouthy and often very upsetting to people online and yet offline they actively don't give a shit to argue, challenge or counteract. In fact two of them that I'm disgusted to be related to will shout someone down and shame them in a slut shaming debate (for example they did this to someone else who'd been raped and took part in slutwalks), yet will slut shame and laugh at rape jokes. So now when i hear someone acting as rude and extreme as my sisters, I automatically see them as rude and hypocritical.
