I don't really know what the first part of your secret is trying to say, but I understand your later sentiments - who you are is not defined by your sexuality. I feel like it's really backwards to try and normalize LGBT by saying that your sexuality should not matter (which it shouldn't), but then also put so much emphasis on having the "right" type of homosexuality portrayed in the media. If a character is super queen-y, then he's a gay stereotype. If a character isn't super queen-y, then he is too heteronormative. If a character is just a regular character but who just happens to be gay, then they aren't doing enough to portray the struggles that homosexuals go through.

tl;dr there is not one correct way to be gay, and really, why the fuck does it matter? You can't say that being gay shouldn't matter but then put so much emphasis on homosexuality.
