100% agree with all of this, and very well-said. Possibly the most well put-together and concise post I've seen on this topic in a long time, especially

...supporting a good cause is not a free pass to do and say anything you want from harassing and dogpiling to passing out personal information of people you're angry at.

You do not get to bully, harass, stalk, or minimize the issues of people who YOU think are assholes. Being an asshole to an asshole just because you think you're defending a good cause does not make you NOT an asshole. You do not have the right to bully somebody because you don't like them, or else you're just as bad as you think they are.
