I wanted a PSP for Crisis Core. So I saved up for it. I had over a years notice. It's not hard to put $10 away a week.

(Anonymous) 2012-12-08 12:37 am (UTC)(link)I'm not saying it'd be easy for everyone, but video games are still major (and expensive) luxury items and OP didn't mention money anywhere nor did they seem to have a problem buying the game, so I'm betting they have at least some money and could save up.

$40 - 50 can do a lot to give you food / necessities / help pay on one of your bills, for some people. Hell, that's an internet or phone connection, or a utility bill, right there.
OP does reek of "first world problems," but you can always wait until a game becomes $20 (or lower) before you buy it, or to want something that you can't afford.
I would certainly like to own my own house, but fuck if I could afford that.

No, it's not ample time. Good for you! You make enough money to be able to save up for it. Not all of us have an extra $10 available each week. >:|
