Scenes that really remind you of a scene from a totally different work

Have you ever had the experience where you watch or read a fictional scene, and it just vividly reminds you of a scene from a totally unrelated book/show/movie/whatever? (Not counting intentional parodies and stuff of course).

Like, I watch that scene at the end of Captain America where Fury drives up to waylay Steve in Time's Square, and I keep expecting the "Welcome to the world of tomorroooooowww!" guy from Futurama to show up behind him.

the end in captain america didn't make much sense, so i don't blame you

(i mean, they weren't -really- trying to fool him, or else they would have done it better, so what the hell was the purpose of all that? to see how steve reacted under hostile environments, or...?!)
