Seriously. His comment about how abortion isn't right even if it's a rape victim because "things happen for a reason" made me side eye him so hard.

I don't like his music, I think he's moderately talented in that "we can market this to pre-teens" sort of way, but I can't like him as a person at all after hearing that, even if an abortion question wasn't something he should have had to field in an interview. He could have said, "This isn't something that is my place to speak on/is relevant to my music." the end.

Meh. Any pro-lifer that DOES think there should be an exception for rape makes me frown. Because if it's about saving a life, why does it matter how the life got there? It just makes me think they're trying to punish women who like to have sex.
