Well, I think the big deal on this issue is that we need to focus less on individual games and more on the entire medium. One game with a male protagonist only isn't bad but having a large wtf is this majority of games have a male protagonist only is bad.

It actually reminds me of the arguments made by people who would like less sexist outfits for women superheroes in comic books. It's not that Wonder Woman's outfit by itself is inherently bad or sexist. It's that her outfit is like the default and so many women have to wear that default. By itself it's not bad but in a group it is.

Also, dude, your opinion is completely valid and counts. You play, you have a say.
