Yep, me too. Aggressive, overbearing, lecturing, always angry/cranky, and not very supportive. I sure as fuck would not want to have a friend like that.

And the TOS version was even worse, seeing as he had more screen time to make me hate his guts.

You mean the way he always gave Kirk great advice and got him to get his head out of his ass and have perspective?

OTOH, if you're judging him solely from how he treated Spock (which I'm assuming you are, since you're a nu!Trek fan and are all about Sylar's pretty face) then I can see where you're coming from, although you're coming from an incredibly immature place...

All of this. He was very supportive, IDK what that anon is smoking.

Not OP/New Anon

In fairness, I was never terribly impressed with TOS!Bones's fantasy-racism.

Well, neither was I, but the writers didn't intend for anyone to be impressed with it. I thought it was a thing called complex characterization.

Oh please, you don't know a thing about me, so stop making yourself look like an idiot. No, I don't care about Sylar, but apparently you do. I just stand by my opinion of Bones being a total emotionally aggressive and cranky dick.

And telling your friend that you like the dude that's ruining your career? As Spock was at the Kobayashi hearing? Super supportive, oh my.
