Anything that's just called erotica without having some variant of a "queer" label is probably going to be all about the het. It isn't exactly hard (hehe) to find gay/lesbian/etc. erotica, though, if you're willing to look. As for how explicit it is, companies like Harlequin have separate lines for the steamier books, so you just have to know what you're looking for.
