Occasionally, there are groups of females with no power struggles, backstabbing, and/or bitchiness, but I've seen this type of group from the workplace to dorms to fandom. That's why I think it's so popular as a fandom meme: Regina George is a queen bee BNF. She also gets hit by a bus, which is kind of awesome and extremely satisfying.
