if only!

i haven't read the comic nor am i familiar with the fandom, but if i were to hazard a guess, i'll say it reminds me of anime-yaoi porn fandom: tons of rape, sexism, and all sorts of terrible stuff, and most of the fans are either too young or clueless enough to realize how creepy it actually is or just don't give a fuck

i have the feeling this happens in western yaoi comics/doujinshi too, from what very little i've seen when my curiosity has overcome my common sense
