Me, too, actually. I liked ATLA fine, but I greatly preferred LoK. I know how angry this opinion makes the fandom, but it's true. Korra was way cooler than Aang, it was easier for me to relate with an older teen character than a twelve year old. Hell, I liked all the characters, even Mako. I also really enjoyed the "steampunk" style setting, and thought the humor was great. My only regret is that this story was stuffed into twelve episodes, if it had been 24 I think it would have been a lot better - slow things down, build the drama more, explore the characters... but as it was, I'd much rather rewatch Korra than ATLA.
