I am a slut-shamer. I don't think people should have sex with someone they aren't in a deeply committed relationship with.

I don't blanket it quite that much (not really insisting on "deeply committed"), but I generally disapprove of casual sex. Not so much random people or in fictional media, but I'm really bothered by it among my friends. If they don't care much about the person they're sleeping with and vice versa, I don't understand how they can open themselves up like that to them.

DA here.

Some people just think of sex as another thing to do with a person. They might not see it as something that requires a lot of "opening up" (and might think that having a long relationship is a lot more intimate and aren't interested in pursuing that). Personally I've never had casual sex, don't know if I would, and I'm sure different individuals have different reasons for why they want to but in the end it's just that. They want to.

If your friends are constantly getting into dangerous situations then be concerned but if they're being safe and responsible then it's really none of your business.

I don't know about deeply committed, but I hate the idea of casual sex. It feels like everyone treats each other like trash.

I don't understand casual sex (I don't think I'm demisexual, but I would never be moved to actually have sex with someone I didn't care for deeply), but I don't disapprove or judge people who have it as long as they're careful and safe -- nor is it really any of my business one way or the other.

I fundamentally don't get it, though, which probably makes me weird and may be an unpopular opinion itself.
