True, for sure. The thing that really shaped the way I see people was through travel. People being nice to you at home in your own country, that's one thing; but the kindness I've see from complete stranger to me, a foreigner, in all these different countries and cultures, it made me feel like people really are good at heart, and jerks are the minority (a loud minority).

I do agree that FS is one of the better communities online. Most of the regulars here take a silly, playful approach to things and I think that helps.
