Not to dismiss your feelings, but it seems like I've seen this exact thing get repeated in about 20 secrets so far this year. Without even any interesting variations on the theme.

True, but I guess since The Hobbit was soon, and now with it just being released...it's kind of par for the course.

I lovelovelove LOTR but find The Hobbit pretty dull. The movie was pretty dull, too. If I could just insert Thorin and the other dwarves into my LOTR, I'd be really happy.
