some high fantasy isn't totally dull like Tolkien is. There's your mystery solved.

(Anonymous) 2012-12-19 02:31 am (UTC)(link)Skyrim and the Elder Scrolls series in general is/-are- totally dull, sry2say. In part because of the vaguely non-linear storyline that basically equates to pointless level grinding and no real cohesive storyline. Pretty doesn't cut it. About the only thing Bethesda has done right recently is Dishonored, and even then they were merely the publishers. Which is probably what they should stick too, as storytelling is not their strongsuit.
