...You do realize that a lot of people who posted were pointing out that it's hard to tell why someone dislikes a character without them flat out saying it, right? So that whole bit about how 'all the comments' are pointing out 'there could be ~ innocuous ~ reasons!' is a bit off the mark.

And the fact is that the people pointing that out have a valid point - it *is* hard to tell unless you know the person/their patterns well enough to come up with a plausible reason...and I'm pretty sure that situation doesn't fall into what the OP was talking about.
