Re: Episode morals that make you mad?

That was a cool unexpected turn for me, personally. Morals about how ~you create your own destiny~ are nice and all, I subscribe to that philosophy! But for this movie, I was willing to suspend that because I took the moral as something entirely outside of that... that the message was that hypothetically if there is such thing as fate and we do find the technology to help us reach ours more easily, that may not be such a good thing. Or in broader, more applicable to real life terms: sometimes technology is too helpful, and just because it works doesn't mean it should definitely be used. Everything in the movie pointed to yeah, soulmates actually do exist and you'll inevitably meet yours someday, but if that's the case anyway, it's better to get there through your own decisions and mistakes.

What did bother me about that movie was the casual homophobia and racism. That was a shame, because I found the rest of it so interesting.
