I get people don't like it and that's fine but I am sick of the "people who like this are dumb and not an awesome scientist like me olololol" circle jerk I see on places like reddit. And if I see the nerd blackface argument one more time I'm gonna scream. It's the calling into question of the intelligence of fans and saying you can't possibly like/be a part of geek culture if you don't find it offensive that makes me hate some haters. If you don't find it funny and find the science jarring then fine, but don't call me stupid because I don't care and it makes me chuckle sometimes. Well, the earlier seasons did.

Reddit is a cesspool, seriously. The general attitude of better-than-you that a majority of people on there are constantly giving on is really tiring. I'm not a fan of TBBT at all, but the nerd blackface argument is ridiculous, and implying that anyone who likes it is someone wrong or dumb is idiotic. People like what they like and often that involves liking different things, and there's absolutely nothing wrong with that. If the show makes you laugh, I say keep enjoying it and tell the people being dicks to you about it to shove it.
