It's Patrick Moore, a British astronomer. He died recently. He was something of an institution.

Sir Patrick Moore, a famous and highly respected astronomer, probably known best from having presented astronomy programme The Sky at Night on the BBC for the last 55 years.

He also had a brief role in Doctor Who in the Eleventh Hour playing himself, he's one of the experts that the Doctor calls on from Jeff's laptop.

There have been many times in my life where I've felt my own life wasn't worth anything if it meant another child didn't get to have it as good as I had, not being raped or starved or killed or all the hundreds of horrific acts that happen by the thousands every day.

Because, obviously, if I'm upset about a handful of children suffering a tragedy, I can't care about them all, right?
