Patrice is basically a Mary Sue.

Patrice is basically a Mary Sue. She rags on Patrice because everything Patrice does is perfect sun-shiny rainbows. She doesn't have a bad thought or feeling about anyone or anything and is obsessive in thinking that she and Robin are friends because, in her eyes, Robin is perfect. Again, she thinks nobody can do any wrong. It's obnoxious to people like Robin who deal with flaws and issues like a real person would. Robin does not believe in miracles or fairy tales where Patrice is the exact opposite.

She's an overweight woman of color who thinks nobody can do wrong, and the other characters treat her badly because of it.

That doesn't sound like a Mary Sue to me.

Being overweight or a woman of color isn't why Patrice is constantly shit on by Robin. It could be considered underlining, but it's her personality that Robin complains about.
