Why are guy elves so twink-like? :\

I don't think all of them are? There's Elrond (who looked fantastic in The Hobbit, btw. Was I the only one who thought so? Damn he looked fine) and Celeborn and Legolas (who is certainly pretty, but not at all twink-like imo) and Haldir (same)... the list goes on, I'm sure.

Yeah, Elrond really did look nice in Hobbit! (-:

I'm glad I'm not alone in thinking so. I rarely hear people comment on Elrond and I was sitting in my seat in awe of how gorgeous he looked.

He just looked cranky to me.

He was pretty welcoming to the party imo (letting them stay, giving them food, reading the map). And as far as I can remember he certainly doesn't hate dwarves, but he does question their decision to go back to the Lonely Mountain (at least in the movie, I think he's a bit more chill in the book).

I haven't seen The Hobbit yet -- I was just referring to LOTR. And I said looked cranky, not acted cranky.

Ah, alright, I didn't know you were talking about LOTR. I could see why you'd say that, because there were moments in LOTR where he really does look and seem cranky. He's a good bit happier in The Hobbit, imo.

That's just Hugo Weaving. He always does. But he's still yummy to look at. *_*

I've loved Badass Armored Elrond ever since the prologue in FotR and was so glad he got to wear armor for The Hobbit.

His armor is lovely. He looks damn tough in it, I agree.

Elrond had really amazing eyebrows.

He does! They're quite striking. Not to mention his eyes looked really lovely (contacts, I suppose) and his wardrobe was great, too.

Hugo Weaving looked really good! He hardly aged at all.

It certainly looked that way, yea. Maybe it's just me but he actually looked younger! Could be because I haven't seen LOTR for half a year or so, so my memory of his appearance there is a little vague.

They've selectively bred themselves through the years so they produce males that allow them to corner the Middle Earth gay-for-pay porn market.

I'm kinda jealous, they probably have no asshair problems.

And suddenly Elves are attractive to me despite over a decade of friends trying to get me interested. There is something very wrong with me.

The magic of gay-for-pay. I wonder if they have websites with names like "Oberon Fisher" and "Elf's First Time"

To this day I ship Glorfindel with Elrohir. No, I have no idea why.

Because the dwarves already have the bear market covered.

I dunno. It's hard for me to find elves who aren't based on the exact same vision of waiflike perfection. I prefer to think of people who supposedly live in and off nature to be a lot more awesomely grungy, not daintily floating along like dirt doesn't dare to cling to their perfect white toes. Then again, Thranduil is fucking stunning, so. I see their point.
