Re: BRAS (mild TMI warning, maybe??)

I wear a bra because I like it. I feel naked if I don't and feel the ladies jiggling around, it makes me uncomfortable. Especially the week or so before my period (sorry, TMI) when they start to get sore and grow in size.

I love plain and cute bras, with polka dots, stripes or drawings, but not frilly, and I love it even more when my bra matches my pants. I prefer padded bras and don't mind underwire (though once, it started coming out and poking me in the ribs). I'm paranoid, every time I buy one, about what kind of clothes I can wear it that won't be see-through. I buy them directly since my size is pretty consistent anyway.

By the way, if anyone's looking, this brand is pretty nice: http://en.etam.com/
Reasonable prices for a lingerie store and their bras last for years.

I didn't realize different countries had different bra sizes. I guess that makes sense since they have different shoe and clothing sizes but ugh, now I have to find my size all over again

I didn't know either before! Even within Europe we don't have the same sizes for anything...

Good luck!

SA

Ah shoot, they don't deliver in the US! (I assume that's where you live?) But I've found another website that specialises in bigger sizes, I've linked you to it in an answer to one of your comments! No idea about their reputation and quality though...

csb time: once when I was in high school a girl in our marching band showed up to rehearsal having rolled out of bed and put a white t-shirt on over a bright orange bra, without thinking about it.

She just kind of rolled with it. People joked and called her "orangey" for the rest of the day. I like how relaxed they were about it...I guess in some places that kind of thing could get you nasty whispers...my personal approach to wardrobe malfunctions is just take in it stride and learn to poke some fun at yourself.
