(Anonymous) 2012-12-24 10:58 am (UTC)(link)My Bra: 34-B. It was around $2 (that wasn't even a sale price!!) at a cheap big box store, it's a kinda-lacy black demi-cup with underwire. So kind of sexy? But mostly very comfortable!
It had matching thong underwear and I bought it years ago in a ridiculous "I have no sexy underwear!!!" panic before going on a vacation with my long distance partner. The underwear has long since been thrown away, but the bra has taught me that price is not a reliable indicator of fit or usefulness. Nylon: excellent bra material! Who knew?!
One of the only instances of unwanted sexual comments I've ever received was in high school when a guy who I was friendly with on my bus made some weird/sleazy comments about me being "excited", that I eventually figured out were about my nipples showing, and since then I don't think I've ever bought a bra without some kind of padding. So fuck him, basically.

Yeah, I love topics like this! People see things like bras, which we'd just consider everyday personal items, *so* differently.
