6. Oh, that ain't so bad. When my boyfriend and I watched that film, we went on and on about the unmistakable chemistry and lust between she and her father. Which of course leads to the fact that Richis accepts the dirty laddie only once he reeks, somewhere, of his Little Girl.

I agree, though. There should be fic. And it should be sumptuous as all get-out. Such promise. Anyone know where I might find some, any, any at all, for Perfume?

Actually, it's funny. I had heard of the book but not read it when I heard the film was coming out. When I saw that it starred Alan Rickman and Rachel Hurd-Wood (of Wendy Darling fame), I figured there'd be a minor, but devoted fanbase created. I have wanted to read the book for some time, but it is not available at any of my sorry local libraries, and I rarely buy new books (being poor white trash), but one would think it'd be just the thing that at least a few girls (and/or boys) would rally round in a fannish way, given the film. It's sad! I want dirty stories with mouthwatering language, now!
