I wouldn't say that's their main reason. Some people are genuine in how angry they are at social issues...whether they are incredibly biased and have distorted information is another story. People are just ignorant, and people generalize. It's an in-group, out-group outdated survival tactic. When you generalize a group, it's angry to get pissed at them for just about EVERYTHING.

Angry feminists can do it to men.

And you know, anyone can do it to feminists, too. :) Which is what is happening, both ways. It's pretty dumb.

*nods* True. I think half the time these annoying crusaders are really just well-meaning people who wanna speak out about what they're mad at and end up going overboard.

Exactly. It's always people feeling threatened, whether for a viable reason or not, and want to protect their values or help people like them. It can lead to great productivity, or annoying counterproductivity and pathetic consant whining D: It of course depends on the person.
