PS I really think women just do this to get off easily. If you're not complaining or showing dissent for anything in the system, then you fit in.

With the exception of those few that go from basic indoctrinated subtle sexism to full-blown dislike and belief in subordination of their own gender, I think you're right; it's pure avoidance of conflict and sometimes laziness.

But honestly, yes. I think many see that men do not like women who voice dissent with the system, therefore the man will love them if they do not 'whine and bitch'. Or it's just good old internalized hatred, or disassociation with victims, etc. etc. *personal unprofessional speculation* Of course, misandry is now the big threat TO FREEDOM!! :D !!!

I had never heard the term "misandry" until last semester, when some douchebag ran in my gender studies class and started spewing more bullshit than I'd ever heard. OH NO!!!!, a few isolated incidents of "reverse sexism" totally cancel out all the rest of it!

I'm not a man-hater; I hate and love everyone equally. But if there's one thing that annoys the living shit out of me more than anything, it's the sense of entitlement some men seem to spew every once in a while in certain public forums. Call me a hypocrite, but female entitlement at least comes from legitimate source, you know?
