sorry but, character personalities may share some similarities (the crying shy ukes or whatever) but it's the context of the story that makes them different. Whereas in some stories the uke stereotype is so unbelievable it verges on the ridiculous, others have uke characters who react realistically to the situations they are put in, especially when their interaction means more than just fucking each other and looking pretty. You just want to generalize everything with one blanket statement.
