I will definitely tell an author if something is screwy in their fic, like half a sentence cut off, or the wrong word, something like that.

I don't leave any *other* sort of crit beyond that unless specifically asked to, and don't really like to do that too much as i tend to morph into 'this is wrong because it's not how i would write it' kind of thing, which isn't helpful.

I can give an overall 'feeling' that i got for a fic, but real editor-type concrit isn't easy, at least for me.

And most fic i comment on i *liked*, so i don't have much to criticize. The stuff i really don't like i don't comment on at all.

If it's a fic I really like, I will say why I like it. If it's a fic I don't like, I just leave it alone.

My main criteria is if the fic is enjoyable or not.
