If I had to guess, I'd say it's because the majority of people in the markets for these games have brown hair, and it is an easy way to let random Joe Blow off the street have a quick way to identify with the character right off the bat.

It's not just you, my friend. I too started watching after tumblr and this place promised me tons of sexual tension and fascinating power dynamics, and then I got to the end of season 2 and was like, "....That's IT?!?!? Butbutbut there was hardly any there there!"

Part of my problem is that I just don't see Stiles as a sexual being. I know the actor is in his 20s, but Stiles the character seems so much like a kid to me that I feel weird shipping him with what clearly is a grown man. And a grown man that I just don't see him having any sexual chemistry with, and believe me, I wanted to see it.

Fortunately the show itself is fun enough to warrant watching anyway. But...yeah. I feel you.

You know what they need? something to bring it to a forefront. Something that makes them realize they shouldn't hide it any longer.

I'm thinking they are both in a car. And suddenly, somebody from another lane is in their lane. And Hasshi looks over, and knows it's now or never, and just kisses Tottsu. I mean sure, maybe they could get out of the way instead, but maybe they couldn't. Death was oncoming and that's what Hasshi wanted to do.

I mean obviously they are going to get hurt. But I don't want them to be permenently hurt. And then they get the same hospital room and they talk about it and when they leave, healthy and strong and beautiful, they leave out and honest.

I know they have to get hurt for this to happen but it's ultimately for their own sakes. That's all. I'm not a bad person!

You know, Shezow's actually been getting better with later episodes. Still horrifically gender locked, but better.

And honestly, that was good for a short, but having the best friend be that oblivious perpetually would be rather repetitive rather fast.
