I respect people's right to write for fun and not accept concrit. I think it's rude to give unsolicited advice and comes across as condescending 99% of the time.

But when people specifically ASK for reviews, and then get pissed when you give them concrit, then they're idiots. That's like asking someone if those pants make your butt look big and getting mad if they say yes. If you don't want honesty, don't ask for comments!

And, like, ninety percent of people on FFN say "Please review!" in their author's notes or summary but then if you say anything negative or constructive they get mad at you.
