Being Spock's love interest is worthy of notice you gotta give her a lot of credit here for being the only woman in the history of star trek that made him fall in love without using spores and other crap like that. And she's black. And she out logic him when he assigned her to the farragut. She accepts him but she doesn't take his crap.
