Also genderqueer, and I also prefer "it" to any of the invented pronouns. To me, "it" is less dehumanizing because at least its an actual word that people use in real life. I have never in my entire life heard someone use xe/ze/se/etc. and I doubt I ever will.

Plus, you know, I really dgaf what people call me. I'm genderqueer and open about it, and I'm mature enough to accept that my appearance is confusing and people aren't going to know what to call me. He, she, it, they, whatever, I really don't care so long as they're not an asshole about it.

Same here. I don't make an effort to throw people by binding my boobs or anything, but when I'm rocking a pixie cut and wearing an oversize t-shirt and baggy jeans and no makeup, people do get confused for a minute until I start talking (my voice is mos def feminine). And you can see the "oh shit, what do I call this person?" look, and I often find myself telling them to call me whatever they want with because I frankly don't give a shit about pronouns.

I swear, people online care way more about this BS than anyone I've ever met outside the internet.

Yes. But my name isn't a pronoun. When people have to use prnouns, I'd prefer they used "it" or singular "they" rather than the fucking stupid zhe/zie/ze/hir shit.

I hope I meet more people like you @_@ the internet would have me think every genderqueer person is raving angrily about pronouns but the few I've met IRL have been totally cool with my confusion or mis-speaking or stumbling with words.
