Awww, I'm glad to see so many people share in my ship! Back in the day I never had anyone to discuss it with, and there was never enough fanfiction for them. (I'm really pleased that I've seen them mentioned several times on The Hobbit kink meme, even if it's not always in the shipping sense. It usually is, though.)

This is fandom, why is there a question mark behind that? It probably already exists somewhere! (If it doesn't, I bet someone would read it if you'd be willing to write it.) I don't do OT3's and I ship Aragorn/Arwen as well as Legolas/Gimli (they have dinner parties), but it's fandom man, everything is good.

Yea, I don't care what other people ship either and think ship wars are the dumbest, most pointless waste of time in the world, so I stay away from the angst as well as I can. I want my fandom experience to be fun, not wanky. (At least not THAT kind of wanky.)

I've been scouring the old LOTR fic haunts looking for a hot Aragorn/Legolas/Gimli fic but I haven't found a single one! Sad anon is sad.

I started out shipping them in the books (Neither ever married! They went traveling together after the quest! Gimli was the only dwarf to ever sail to the grey havens, and he went because Legolas desired his company!), but it carried over to the movies. The bond they had wasn't as deeply explored in those, but knowing what could come of it had me behind it 100%. Also, their interactions were really cute.

Came here only to hate on the scourge of film!Legolas/Aragorn shippers, and to promote Gimli/Legolas. THEY DEFIED CENTURIES-OLD PREJUDICES with their epic friendship. They retired together. ♥

Aww, well I wouldn't hate on Legolas/Aragorn because people like what they like, but Legolas/Gimli always needs more love. And there's so much in the book to fuel the imagination! It's incredibly easy to ship them.

As stated in another thread, I am an Aragorn/Arwen fan so I was never to into Aragorn/Boromir, but they were tempting. I read a bit of it because they did have an interesting dynamic (and were certainly pretty too), and if Arwen hadn't existed I would've shipped them hardcore.
