You probably misunderstood the meaning of 'fake comic book geek'. That refers to someone who is just pretending to like anything comic book related. WHY anyone would do this I have no idea. It's not exactly cool or impressive to fake, unlike say, a 100k salary job or something.

You are the genuine article. I do not dress or look like a geek either and people are always surprised that I like this stuff, but i'm no expert I just really, really like the stuff. I consider myself to be a comic geek, just not a really hardcore one. And frankly, if you are at this website and have submitted a secret to "FANDOM SECRETS" I'd say, yes you are definitely a geek.

The whole fake geek thing was coming from this idea that there are girls who just wear cosplays not knowing anything about it and only wanting to get attention from geek guys. Which frankly, is a load of crap.
