If non-con/rape fantasies turn these people on, isn't it better that they use a safe outlet for these kinks, rather than hurting others or risking harm to themselves? People can't always help what turns them on, and I'm certain at least most people with this kink don't find real life instances of rape hot or sexy, especially because fic written for rape-kink is very rarely written realistically because it's supposed to be hot and sexy, not horrific and traumatic like real life rape.

Personally, I couldn't care less about what people get off on, so long as they can separate fantasy from reality.
