Hm. Behind on Series 3, is that the fella from the first season that Thomas tried to blackmail? So romantic!

Honestly, and the scene breaks my heart every time, I have trouble even romanticising Thomas's relationship with the soldier in Series 2. I don't doubt he felt something, but with Thomas, everything is also a means to the end of "get the hell out of this life." I think he was crying as much for his lost chances as he was for someone he cared about.

Oh Thomas, I love you and how badly you screw up your own life so very much.
