I think the most important thing to remember is This Is A Children's Show. It was made for children and aimed at children.

If you compare it to other childrens' shows it is well plotted and well produced. If you compare it to adult shows the villians are not very threatening, the plots are less complex, and the funds are lower than the big shows.

Basically, I would rate it:

Brilliant adult shows
Good adult shows
Very good children shows (inc. SJA)
