Re: The Sarah Jane Adventures: is it any good?

I've only seen some of it, but it's enjoyable enough. The teen actors are all quite good, and it's much worthwhile if you enjoy Elisabeth Sladen's Sarah Jane. Reverse-Torchwood is pretty accurate. Because I've only seen some, I don't know if it's fulfilling with regards to season/series-long arcs. The effects are unfortunately even worse than Torchwood's; it's definitely low-budget. The scale is smaller and simpler than DW's, which is often a plus in its favor. Some of the humor is overly juvenile but there's enough strong material to make it worth the watch.
