Well, good for you, but then again it's not exactly Ulysses, but rather a fun and not particularly difficult read.

Yeah, I'm one of those who are not impressed by the mere fact of someone reading books. It's normal.

I would probably be the same, but, apparently, there's something wrong with my environment. I just got used to assume automatically that any given person I'm acquainted with doesn't read much, and in 90% of cases I'm right. Therefore I can't help but feel astonished and pleased whenever I encounter a book-lover. It sure is sad, and the fact that I've never managed to meet anybody better read than me myself doesn't exactly help. Not boasting or seeking validation here, it's just sad and it hurts.
