Hell yeah, it's definitely worth it! I feel like people mainly bitched because it wasn't exactly the same as the original, which I personally find to be a baffling complaint. But hey, each to their own. I personally loved it though, and have played through it more times than the original. The biggest flaw is the bugs -- one in particular -- but if you're lucky enough to have Xbox Live or whatever, then you're in the clear.

But, one important thing! You should definitely play Awakening first.
