The Eagle is great if you like historical fiction. It's set somewhere around 100 AD in Roman-era Britain and focuses on the developing friendship of a Roman guy with his British slave as they travel into the wilds of what's now Scotland to uncover the mystery of Roman guy's father's disappearance. Every person I've watched it with has commented on the slashiness lol.
