Overused phrases like that really take me out of a fic, regardless of...how something like that would actually feel in real life. If two characters start making out and suddenly there are "crevices" explored and (oh, my personal favorite) someone "begging entrance," I'm out.

Yeah, that's my problem with it. Nasty ass overused phrases make me roll my eyes and exit the fic. Particularly begging entrances.

I'm getting that way about "deepened the kiss." It doesn't disgust me or anything, but it's just I see it. Every. Single. Time.

Find a new way to say it, dangit.

Ugh, yes, that too. All those overused phrases...it's not terrible, but it's getting really old.
