The Replacement Killers staring Chow Yun Fat and Mira Sorvino. Good action, decent plot. NO ROMANCE.

Kiss of the Dragon with Jet Li and Bridget Fonda. Ditto with the action and plot thing.

The Last Boy Scout with Bruce Willis and Damon Wayons. Oh, the one-liners.

Hawk the Slayer. I can't even remember who was in this one, but I adored it. I really thought Crow the elf was spectacular.

Big Trouble in Little China. Kurt Russell channeling John Wayne in a martial arts movie. There is absolutely nothing to not love in this movie. Magic, martial arts, demons....

My Own Private Idaho. Keanu Reeves and River Phoenix as street hustlers. Do I need to say anything more?

Archie and Mehitabel. Animated series (Don Blume's studios, I think, did the animation), based on the novel of the same name, about a cockroach and a cat. Dark comedy.

Awww I thought Big Trouble in Little China was better known. At least everyone I personally know loves that movie. It's entertaining as hell

I have mentioned it and Tremors to people and gotten blank stares. Frightful, to be sure.

Big Trouble In Little China is the greatest movie of all time let's hang out

Seriously I like that movie way more than is probably healthy for me, it's just so fun.

My Own Private Idaho and Replacement Killers are also really good. I've only seen the opening scene from Last Boy Scout but it's certainly... uh... memorable. And I didn't know that they ever did an animated version of archie the cockroach but I am definitely going to check that shit out.

I ♥ Big Trouble. I wound up with two or three copies one year for Yule due to family and friends thinking I needed it.

The Last Boy Scout - the scene with the dead squirrel? XD

I haven't seen Archie and Mehitabel since the '80's, I think, or possibly late '70's. Good luck! I really enjoyed it.

wha-wha-wha-whaaaaa

Archie and Mehitabel got animated? Thank you for a new fantastic thing!

I think Big Trouble in Little China has a decent cult following... I haven't rewatched it since seeing it on tv with my grandpa at around 5 or 6 years old, but that memory makes me feel a strange fondness for seeing it mentioned regardless.

Yep, Archie and Mehitabel was animated. I remember watching the movie on HBO during either the late '70's/early '80's.
