I was all set to ask what world you were living in where Dead Poets Society is this obscure thing nobody's noticed, but then I remembered that time marches on. Are "kids today" seriously like "'Dead Poets Society'? Whut?"

Because that's sad. And it makes me feel old when I'm only 30.

Yep. I actually mentioned it in a college English course and the half of the class that was under twenty had no idea what I was talking about. It saddened me immensely as that movie should be required viewing for anyone taking English courses.
