Fairly certain the person accusing everyone who can't afford a trip to London or Broadway of being a philistine is a troll. If they're not, it's kind of hilarious that they're bitching about the superiority of Les Miserables and The Phantom of the Opera. I've never met a theatre snob that would admit to liking either, although they're both better tolerated than anything by Wildhorn, and to be a real musical snob you'd better bow to Sondheim. That's not even touching on the people who think that all musicals are light entertainment/brain candy when compared to straight plays. I have no taste whatsoever. I'll watch Disney stuff, Lloyd Webber, Boublil and Schonberg--hell, I like Wicked, and all of these have been called the theatrical equivalent of McDonald's at some point. And I love live theatre. I'd love to go to Broadway and London again. But I doubt I'll get the chance any time soon. As to the OP of the secret, you don't have to watch the movie, but if you do I hope you enjoy it. I had fun, once I got past the extreme close-ups of pretty much everyone. Seriously, I don't go to the movies to count the actor's nose hairs.
