yeah, my friends and coworkers bug me about it too :\ And when I DO go out with them, they're like "Woooow, what made you decide to come out of your cave? Is the sun hurting your eyes?" and I kinda want to be like fuck you I'm going home :v

Do people feel that saying "I'm glad you could join us" or something makes them too vulnerable or something.

Omg, comments like that are the worst. I like spending time in my "cave" tyvm, and even if I didn't, why would I want to spend my time hanging out with people who are going to constantly give me shit or imply I'm a loser for how I prefer to spend my time? :|

I think the worst time I've had that happen, I literally went on a walk to get away from my family [it was on a family reunion trip with all of us staying in the same hotel, even the same *area* of said hotel, iirc, and sharing a room with my parents] and they all decided to get up and clap when I came back. Because, you know. It's hysterical that I took a walk, or something. I literally almost turned around and walked back out until much, much later.
