Thank you F!S

After all the threads about getting proper bra fittings and how life-changing it can be for some people, I finally went and had a professional fitting. It turns out I'm not a 36B, I'm a 38A! (No wonder I always felt like I was being strangled and couldn't a new one on for more than a couple of hours - I just thought that was part of wearing a bra.)

Of course, just about every store carries 36Bs and nobody seems to have 38As, aside from online specialty shops. I've seen some links posted for the full-figured crowd, but anybody got any good links for the itty bitty titty committee?

I went and got fitted last week! Turns out I'm a 34F(34DDD). No wonder nothing was fitting from the regular stores.

And have you tried Amazon? Or sports bras. You could probably get away with those, though they aren't usually cute at all, which sucks.

I might have a couple places in mind, but I only know some physical stores, not any websites, so may I ask where you live?

The closest shop I know of is in New York City- I can still get you the name of it, if you want?

I doubt I'll get the chance, but go ahead and get me the name if it's not too much trouble - I might visit in the near future. Thanks :3

I am so sorry, I thought I remembered the name of the store, but when I checked to make sure, I had the wrong one. I'll still look for the store, and I'll post it on F@S when I find it, but I don't have it right now. D:

Damn, I used to have a ton of websites bookmarked, but I can't find them now... hwell, there's Figleaves, they seem to have a huuuge range of sizes. I've also gotten a bra from Intimacy, and like every other bra that actually comes in my size it's a bit pricy... but it technically wasn't even my size, they had to send it out to get it adjusted, and that was free, so. um. yes. They're also good. **thumbs up**

Okay, the Figleaves swimsuits are awesome. Expensive, but awesome. I'm going to have to bookmark that. :)

Awesome! I bet it must feel a lot better! :)

Unfortunately, I don't have any links. :(

I just have to say I'm glad you got it all sorted out and best of luck in finding tiny sizes. I know my sister struggles with that too.

I'm about to try and order one of these to see if they fit. *crosses fingers*

Hello, fellow IBTC member! (AA cup here, and most retail stores forget we exist altogether.)

http://www.lulalu.com/

Has band sizes 30-38, AAA-B cups, not to mention reasonable prices.

I had a life-changing bra experience too, and it was quitting the damn things. I'm not even a peculiar size, I don't think, something like 34C. Good camisoles ftw. Some people I've known for years have been surprised to hear I never wear bras; it is really not that obvious if I dress right.

Yes, same. My back hurts so much less now. My situation is a little odd, though. I have scoliosis, and I have fibromyalgia. The place where the bra strap sits? Is where both the scoliosis bump and two fibro tender points are. Whee. -_-

Randomly, as someone who hates bra bands, I found that these are actually pretty damn comfortable, and can be worn with the shoulder straps quite loose, because its the entire body of the garment that's actually supporting the breasts: http://www.unbelievabra.com/styles.html

Of course, if you can do without a bra at all, that's probably a great idea! Mine are unfortunately large and pendulous, and like to flop around. Fine to leave out for chilling around home or just going to the theater, but not so good for going to work or doing physical activity. :c

Is there anything you do for uhhhh... nipple hiding? I don't wear bras either, which is fine, but some days you can see my nipples through my t-shirt and sweatshirt. I should wear an undershirt, probably, but I hate tight clothing and no undershirt fits comfortably under any shirts I own.

Sadly tight clothing is pretty much it :/ I'm usually wearing a camisole with an extra layer around the boobs, or a tight long-sleeved shirt, or both. People who prefer loose, light clothes seem to be SOL there.

DAMN. Oh well, I had a hunch that this was the solution. Thanks anyway!

Well, you could always buy some nipple covers: http://www.amazon.com/Nippies-Skin-Reusable-Silicone-NON-ADHESIVE/dp/B001O482W4/ref=pd_sbs_a_4

Ooo! That's something I've been wondering about! That'd be pretty neat, actually. Thanks!

Aw, congratulations, anon. I'm glad your bras will ever now fit you better.

I had a similar experience last year. I went and got properly fitted and discovered I wasn't a 36A, I was a 36B. It made more of a difference than I'd anticipated!
